Hannah Rarity played another wonderful gig on Thursday 10th October Crail Folk Club. As at Stirling, Hannah was joined by Calum McIlroy on guitar and backing vocals.
Whilst Hannah's setlist was similar, her gig had a more intimate feel. With the community hall being a fairly large venue, that says a lot about the warm friendly atmosphere of this folk club.

Hannah and Calum played two spellbinding sets, drawing on songs from Hannah's albums - the most recent, To Have You Near and her debut, Neath The Gloaming Star. She also incuded some new material that shoud appear on her eagerly awaited next album. As Hannah sang, it was a touch of heaven. A real joy and privilege to hear such an incredibly talented artist. Calum too is an amazing artist as a musician and has an excellent voice, as he showed when put the spotlight on him to perform a solo song.

The evening was completed with some floor spots, performing between Hannah's two sets. Some excellent talent on show. Whilst this club is a long way from home, I'll certainly keep an eye on their programme as I would love to come back again.
